Coffee

Life without coffee would not be pleasant.

I suppose tea could replace it.

I like tea.

However, I always choose coffee in the mornings.

I have tea available.

Is coffee a habit?

or

Is it an addiction?

The data collection, some call that Science, suggests that its an addiction to caffeine.

It is hard to argue against facts.

Actually, it is impossible.

No one actually does that.

What those facts mean, well that is another story.

That is why scientists suggest possible explanations of facts.

To declare an absolute, that is the venue of priests secure in their faith.

So

Back to coffee.

Is it an addiction or habit?

Every now and then, I skip my morning coffee.

Nothing happens that suggest withdrawal.

It's a habit.

No need for a priest or scientist to declare what coffee is to me.

Why should I trust someone else to understand something so trivial?

 and

Its a matter of trust.

Not faith.

Trust in the person delivering any message or judgement.

The Scientist who works for a government, is he trusted by you?

Is it even a scientist delivering a message?

The Priest who works for an organization, is he trusted by you?

No priest works for God.  They might live for God, if they really believe.

There is a difference.

Both are representing human organizations, collectives, all working toward a common goal.

Thus

This line of thought winds down.

Coffee.

It's really good.

It's really bitter.

I don't know about you.

But, coffee makes me think.
