Today is July 5, 2021.
I's sure the platform keeps track of the date, but it felt good to start with that.
Okay, I was just looking for something to read.
Blogs, of course. Then the computer asked me "Do you want to make one?"
Sure, why not?
I have a kindle for books (and gasp, real books too) and magazines. Something about actual books and magazines are nice, until you have to store them in an overcrowed house.
I do have hobbies. The first photograph is of the shopping carts that pop up everywhere. Collecting those carts are a little difficult, so I just collect images of abandoned carts. Or really, any image these days. Yes, I am a pack rat. (One of the blogs Im looking for should concern itself with decluttering. I wonder if there is a blog devoted to creating clutter.)
Blogging looks fun; however, I have no expectations or anything other than fun.
As far as first posts go, I have no clue how well it is crafted. I do use the word crafted because I am a big believer that there are basic principles that can only be learned by experience. The tendency of the craftsman to pass along his knowledge to an apprentice is a compelling image and metaphor.
BPowell
PS The name means studio of Powell in French....I dont speak french.....I am not french. I like work shops, which a studio or atlier is. Aprentices learn there, not students. They worked for a living, mainly the Master Artist's living, but they worked.
